Partners
Engineered to cooperate. Built to extend.
InThing is a software company. Hardware, local delivery and the customer relationship usually sit with our partners, and that is how we like it. Here is how the program works for each type of partner.
The partner program
Three ways to work with us.
Most customer projects combine all three: a reseller supplies the hardware, an integrator connects the systems of record, and InThing software ties the sensors to the work.
01
Resellers & channel
Sell InThing alongside the readers, printers, tags and mobile computers your customers already buy from you.
Reseller program
02
System integrators
Deliver multi-site programs where sensor events have to land in ERP, WMS, MES or EAM systems.
Integrator program
03
Hardware & technology
Make your devices or platform part of complete solutions for assets, materials and people.
Technology program
Resellers & channel
Add software to the hardware you already sell.
Resellers and distributors bring InThing to customers they already serve, usually together with Zebra or other RFID hardware they supply.
Introducing a software vendor to your customers puts your reputation on the line. We support you from the first call to go-live and keep supporting the customer after it.
- What you get
- Presales help from our solutions engineers: site and RF assessment, bill of materials and a solution proposal you can forward to your customer. Deployment by InThing, 24/7 support for mission-critical operations, and joint material such as the CDW · InThing · Zebra brochures.
- What we expect
- You own the customer relationship and the commercial offer, supply hardware and consumables, and bring us in early on opportunities where tracking is the point.
- First step
- Tell us about your customers and product lines in the partner form. We’ll set up an introduction call and a product walkthrough.

System integrators
Configure first, write code only where you must.
Integrators run the complex programs: several sites, several systems of record and a business case that depends on the data being right.
InVault, InFlow and InStep are ready-made applications on one platform, so your consultants spend their time on the customer’s processes and integrations instead of building tracking software from scratch.
- What you get
- EAI-Bridge connectors and the Visium API for SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, IBM Maximo, Microsoft Dynamics and others. Working sessions with our engineers, server and high-availability requirements, and direct access to the team that builds the platform.
- What we expect
- Knowledge of the customer’s business processes, system integration and project management, and a named lead for each program.
- First step
- Describe a current or upcoming program in the partner form. We’ll review the architecture with you and agree who does what.

Hardware & technology partners
Turn your devices into complete solutions.
Reader, tag, RTLS and robotics vendors, and the software platforms our customers run, all meet in the same InThing platform.
Once Trapeze supports a device, it works with every InThing application. That is how Zebra RFID readers ended up counting wreaths and voting machines, and how PAL Robotics’ STOCKBOT inventory robot came into a current customer pilot.
- What you get
- Device and platform support in Trapeze and EAI-Bridge, use cases across assets, materials and people, and joint pilots and customer stories.
- What we expect
- Device documentation, SDKs or test units for integration, a technical contact for joint customers, and early sight of new hardware and releases.
- First step
- Tell us about your device or platform in the partner form. We’ll scope the integration and a first joint customer.

Partner success
Delivered together.
Two projects where a partner owned the customer, Zebra supplied the hardware and InThing supplied the software.
Continental Floral Greens
Redline Solutions brought InThing to the wreath maker in Belfair, Washington, and delivered it with Zebra RFID. Every wreath is credited to its station as it is made, so 15 assembly stations and their seasonal workers see live counts and get paid per wreath.
1M+wreaths per Christmas season
100%count accuracy
99.7%production approval rate
City of Philadelphia
With CDW and Zebra, the Philadelphia Department of Elections replaced pen-and-paper chain of custody with InThing’s Voting Equipment Tracking Solution, first used in the November 2020 election.
3,500voting machines across 720 polling locations
~17,000election items under chain of custody
Why partner with InThing
A software vendor that wants your customers to succeed.
In our published experience, InThing’s algorithms, architecture and ready-made applications have cut the total cost of ownership of RFID adoption by 58% compared with other ISVs, and shortened RFID sales cycles to 3–6 months from 15–18.
For resellers
Products that scale and stay up, with price-performance your customers notice and support for operations that cannot stop.
For technology partners
Faster sales cycles for your devices, because the customer sees a working application for the problem they actually have.
For integrators
A cloud-ready, extensible and fault-tolerant platform with applications for supply-chain and asset projects that need to go live quickly.
Become a partner
Let’s build something together.
Tell us about your company, the customers you serve and the kind of partnership you have in mind: reseller, integrator or technology. Bish Datta, our Director of Channels & Alliances, or a member of her team will get back to you.
